Super Wood Entertainment System

We've seen a few awesome Retropie builds in our time, but this one has certainly blue shelled itself into first place.

The aim was simple enough: build a fully working SNES out of wood. Jules1050 started out with a 3D model of a SNES case, which he then sliced up in Fusion 360 to enable him to laser cut it out of multiple sheets of plywood. After glueing everything together, he then installed a Raspberry Pi running Retropie, connected to a 4 port USB hub to allow for multiplayer.

Not content with just the console, He also made a matching controller by gutting a replica SNES controller, modelling and laser cutting a new exterior (and buttons!) from plywood and then installing the components into that. To complete the look, he also wrapped the plastic cord in hemp rope. He's also working on a wireless version, based on the popular 8BitDo controllers.
