Paying tribute to famed Canadian musician Gord Downie, the people over at Trotec Canada have made this beautiful laser-cut acrylic stained glass window.
They first kiss-cut the design into a large piece of clear acrylic, which helped them with the placement of the second layer of coloured acrylic. They then cut their design out of various colours of acrylic, aligned them onto the clear sheet and stuck them down.
Finally, they placed the project in their window, using a couple of extra strips of acrylic stuck to the frame to hold it in place. Check out the video to learn more about how this was done.
